How do I participate in The People's Yoga On Demand?

You can use any internet-enabled device to access all classes. You can use airplay or Chromecast to beam your view on to your computer.


I'm a TPY studio member and I'm supposed to have complimentary membership during the covid closures. How do I get the hookup?

You should have received an automated email, but if you need help email A heads up, the system will ask you to add a credit Card in order to access the on demand subscription. Our apologies. However, we will not charge you for this service during the closure as long as you enter the coupon code provided to you. If you forget to enter the code, shoot us an email and we can fix it! Once we reopen to a robust schedule we will alert members to the end of the complimentary access period.


I'm confused about the difference between the TPY Unlimited Studio Membership and this On Demand Subscription.

We use two separate softwares for our main studio and our virtual on demand "studio". When you purchase TPY unlimited monthly membership through our main schedule (hosted by Mindbody)that gives you access to our full studio offerings: livestream, on demand and (eventually) in studio as well as other membership benefits like workshop discounts. If you purchase the $35 On Demand subscription through this site (hosted by Uscreen) you'll be getting access to the on demand content only.


Purchasing additional programs outside of the subscription

On occasion teachers will create individual programs of contained material which can be purchased outside of a recurring monthly subscription. You do not have to have a monthly subscription to purchase access to these additional programs. Rental times for these offerings will be listed on the item at time of purchase. To view any videos you purchased outside of a monthly subscription, make sure that you are logged in. You can see your videos in the My Library category.


Should I participate in these classes if I'm injured, pregnant or have medical conditions?

Please check with your doctor before practicing yoga if you're injured pregnant or have medical conditions. And always heed the intuition of your body as you explore these classes.


How does the 7 day Free Trial work?

Take a 7 day test drive of the classes and see if they serve you! Once the free trial expires, you’ll automatically become a subscriber and will be billed monthly. There are no refunds for charges incurred on any subscription plan, but subscription plans can be cancelled at any time if they no longer serve you. To avoid being charged after starting a trial, please cancel the trial before expiration. You will not lose access to the free trial if you cancel early.



How do I reset my password?

On the login page, click Forgot Password, enter the email associated with your account, and click Send Instructions. The instruction email will arrive in your inbox shortly. In the instruction email, click Reset Password and you will be directed to select a new password before being redirected to the catalog page.

TO change your password, sign into your account and click My Account or Dashboard from the top navigation menu. Select Password and update your password.


How do I update my billing information?

Once signed into your account, you can update your billing information by clicking My Account or Dashboard from the top navigation menu. Select Billing and update your billing information.


How do I cancel my recurring subscription?

Once signed into your account, you can cancel your recurring subscription by clicking My Account or Dashboard from the top navigation menu. Select Billing and locate your subscription plan at the bottom of the page.  Click Change Plan and Cancel Membership. Your membership will be cancelled and your access will be removed at the end of your current payment period.


Can I get a refund?

We are unable to offer refunds. However, you are able to cancel your subscription at any time to avoid being charged again.


My credit card is being declined.  Why is that?

Many credit/debit cards have online purchase restrictions. If your card is being declined, please contact your credit card company to let them know the purchase you would like to make is valid. Also, certain credit/debit cards do not allow for recurring subscription billing, and therefore, may be denied.



My video does not playback smoothly. How can I fix this?

Video playback depends on several factors. To improve your playback experience, make sure you have a fast, stable internet connection. We recommend using the most recent version of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. You may experience playback issues with outdated devices and browsers.


Can I watch videos using Chromecast and AirPlay?

Yes!  Both Chromecast and Airplay are compatible with our site.  

To use Chromecast: Locate the Chromecast icon in the bottom right corner of the video you want to cast.  Click the icon and select the correct Chromecast from the pop-up in your browser.

To use AirPlay: Open the video on your apple device and click the AirPlay icon in the bottom left corner.


Can I watch videos on my TV without using an app?

Yes. By connecting your laptop directly to your TV with an HDMI cable, you will be able to watch videos from our site on your TV.


Can I watch videos on my phone or tablet without using an app?

Yes. Our website adapts to phone and tablet browsers so you can watch our content anywhere!


Which browsers are supported?

While we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome, we also support Firefox and Safari browser released within the last five years.  You may experience playback issues when using an out of date browser or any version of Internet Explorer.


How do I play music with class?

If a class has the option to use music, you will find a link to a specific Spotify playlist in the video’s description. Click on the link to find the playlist in Spotify.
